The Adventures of the Little Blue Backpack: Part Four, Cambodia

Cambodia was the next stop on their wild adventure, and the beginning of their final month.

The Adventures of the Little Blue Backpack: Part Three, Vietnam

Driving through the streets of Hanoi upon their arrival in Vietnam, Katie, Aimee and the Little Blue Backpack could barely hear themselves above the noise of moped and car horns. In fact, their time in Vietnam would almost always be accompanied by a soundtrack of beeping, they just didn't know it yet.

The Adventures of the Little Blue Backpack: Part Two, Laos

The Little Blue Backpack arrived in style into Luang Prabang, Laos.

The Adventures of the Little Blue Backpack: Part One, Northern Thailand

Once upon a time there was a little blue backpack who lived in a cold and dusty warehouse. One day, he embarked on a long journey in a dark and damp lorry, driving for miles until he eventually arrived in the arms of his new friend, Aimee.

The return.

Follow my blog with Bloglovin Honey I'm home.  It's so damn nice to be back. Nothing beats a British summer and so far, apart from the hay-fever, I am very much enjoying this one.

Sandy toes are happy toes.

Today marks exactly two weeks until we fly home and, as much as I am looking forward to ol' Blighty, I am really getting used to this lifestyle now. It doesn't take long out here for you to understand why some people go travelling and never come back.

Tonight is our last night in Thailand (until we come back to travel the South in June) - we depart on a 'speed' boat for Laos tomorrow morning.

Guess who's back in town.

No, the boys are not back, it's just me. I have decided to return to the blogosphere after a year and a half long hiatus. I managed to finish a degree in the meantime so all was not wasted. I created my previous blog - What Katie Does and Did - whilst on my year abroad in Spain and it was a means of documenting everything I did. My life currently is not quite as thrilling as constant tapas and sangria; nevertheless, here I am - back in the blogging game. I’ve decided to use this as a bit of a diary even though I have never previously managed to keep one. The closest I got to it was in junior school and at the top of the page where it said “date” I would write the name of the boy/celebrity/Disney prince I was infatuated with at the time and therefore wanted to date. Not sure I quite understood the concept of a diary back then.  I have no idea what I will end up writing here; those of you who know me will be aware that I’m about to go travelling to South-east...
